Christenings/Baptisms
Please contact the Rector for further information.
Each one of is loved by God and precious in God's eyes. In a service of christening, we are baptised with water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, begin our journey of faith and become a part of the Christian family, the church around the world. People can be baptised at any age, as infants, children, or in adulthood. If you interested in baptism for your child or yourself, please contact Nichola Donald at the Parish Office 01480 370312 (Office hours - Tuesdays & Thursdays 09:30/13:30 Friday 13:30/16:30). Baptisms can take place during a Sunday service or on another date.
More information about the service, about choosing godparents and frequently asked questions about christenings can be found at the Church of England's Christening Page.
Baptisms do not have a fee, though donations to support the ministry of the church an maintenance of the church building are always gratefully received.
We look forward to talking with you about baptism and supporting you on a life-long journey of faith.
