May 20 – Today - Pentecost (Whit Sunday) – Eucharist services at 09:30 and 11:15 - We will be reverting to the traditional language Order of Service at the 09:30 service.
May 27 – Trinity Sunday - Eucharist services at 09:30 and 11:15
Deanery Safeguarding Training – The Deanery are laying on two courses on September 11 and 25 covering C1 and C2 respectively. These are extremely beneficial to anyone that may find themselves in a safeguarding situation so please let us know if you would like to attend as places are already being taken up.
May 13-19 – Christian Aid Week – Envelopes were distributed last Sunday but more are available if you did not receive one. We hope you will give generously. Please return the envelopes, in due course, via the collection plate, or to Tony or Christine Miles. Further literature is available on the table by the church door.
May 10-20 - Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement, which invites Christians around the world to pray between Ascension and Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus Christ. Services are being held at St. Neots church.
May 14-21 Inclusive – Father Ken will be away and will miss services on Sunday May 20
Thursday May 17 – PCC Meeting – An update on our period of transition was given and various scenarios were discussed. If you would like any further details, please ask a PCC member.
Thursday June 7 – School Eucharist Service – This will be held in church and it would be great if as many as possible could be there to show support for our school members.
Wednesday June 13 - 7:00pm – Healing Service
Wednesday/Thursday June 13/14 pm – Actios will be using the church for Prayer Stations with Middlefields and Eynesbury Schools.
Saturday June 23 – 14:00/17:00 – Strawberry Tea - Draw tickets are now available. This is a major fundraiser for us. We will be advertising this event widely so please help to spread the word.
Celebrating Market Town Churches – Please put this date in your diaries. We are all invited to a special day to share stories, swap ideas, workshops, displays, resources! Saturday 6th October.

Sunday Services- At the recent PCC meeting it was agreed that we would have one Parish Service at 10:00am on the first Sunday of each month. This will be a joint service for all. The next one will be Sunday June 3.

We pray that the Holy Spirit may inspire and encourage us to support our Missionary Societies, U,S [formally USPG] abroad and the Church Army at home, in their work of outreach to the unconverted
For the world: Continue to pray for peace, particularly in the Middle East. We pray that the Holy Spirit may reach the hearts of even the most aggressive national leader and inspire a desire for peace.
Community: We give thanks for the Mayor's Charity and for the work it encourages among children and young people. We ask the Holy Spirit's guidance for those who will decide the future of our parishes.

Eynesbury War Memorial Project
Deb Depledge is researching all the names on the two war memorials. Do you know any of the names listed, is one of them your relative?
If so she would like to hear from you.
She is creating a memorial book in honour of the men and women named on the two memorials, which will be on view in the church.
