November 11 – Remembrance Sunday - Eucharist Service 09:30 – Remembrance Service 10:50 – All Age Eucharist 11:15
Sunday November 11 – There will be a normal 09:30 service followed by a Remembrance service at the monument. This will be followed by the normal 11:15 service.
Wednesday November 14 - Healing Service at 7:00pm
November 18 – Eucharist Service 09:30 – All Age Eucharist 11:15
Higher Tour – Following on from the visit of the Higher Tour, Tara will be running a ‘discipleship’ course during the 11:15 service. This is over 6 weeks but will be split into 3 two-week sections. The remaining dates are:-
November 11 and 18
December 9 and 16
Saying Goodbye – November 18 18:30 – There will be a service at Ely Cathedral for any that have been affected by the loss of a baby, whether during pregnancy, at birth or in infancy. A poster is on the Notice Board.
Advent Wreath Making - Sunday 25th November 2018 at the 11:15am service
Memorial Safety Testing – The Council will be checking all our headstone during the week of November 12
Privacy Consent Forms – Many thanks to all those who have completed and returned their form. If you still have not done so could you please complete and return your form to one of the Churchwardens.
Foodbank – There is a booklet on the church table for their 5th Anniversary – It gives a lot of information and is free to take away. There are also appeal flyers.

Christmas 2018 – Although it seems a fair way away at present, it will soon be upon us. We are in the process of drawing up services for the Christmas period so if you have any special requests please let us know.

For the ill and distressed: Diane, Valerie, Thomas, Anne, Dawn, Derek, Joan, Lilly, Rosemary, Sarah, Stephen.
For the church: Pray that Christians living in traditional Muslim countries may stand firm in faith. Give thanks for Asia Bibi's acquittal and pray for four other Christians facing trial for blasphemy in Pakistan.
The World: At this time of Remembrance the media faces us with the horror and futility of war choose one warring country on which to concentrate
your prayer and pray earnestly that rulers and people may be shocked
into working for peace.
The Community: Pray that our young people may turn away from violence and that a way to end knife crime may be found.

Deb Depledge is researching all the names on the two war memorials. Do you know any of the names listed, is one of them your relative?
If so she would like to hear from you.
She is creating a memorial book in honour of the men and women named on the two memorials, which will be on view in the church.
